Residential (Recurring & One-Time)
Our Approach
"Kyrios" comes from the Greek word meaning "master" or "lord." We seek to bring together both mastery and dependable service with every house and building we clean. As part of that, we believe you should know the people, the products, and the methods used to clean your space.
In terms of our methods, we work from the top down. We first dust off corners and surfaces so that the dust falls to the ground. Next, we wipe down surfaces and fixtures (e.g. window ledges, tables, desks, mirrors, tubs, etc.) with an all-purpose hydrogen peroxide spray. Then we use a HEPA-filtered backpack vacuum to remove dust and debris from carpet and hard floors. Finally, we mop hard surfaces using a microfiber mop which uses less moisture and more pressure to clean more effectively than a string mop.
For more difficult areas, we will consider the chemical and its dwell time, the type of agitation (e.g. microfiber cloth, nylon brush, scouring pad, etc.), and heat (steam cleaner or hot water).
We intentionally choose products with low volatile organic compound (VOC) content to minimize any negative impact on your health and indoor air quality. These products include: hydrogen peroxide based all-purpose cleaner, vinegar, a Green Seal Certified enzymatic floor cleaner, and sal suds. Unfortunately, many conventional cleaning products pose risks to both the people who use them and those who live or work in the spaces being cleaned. A large number of these products release VOCs into the air which can irritate the respiratory system, increase cancer risk, and contribute to developmental and reproductive harm. Pricing is based on $40/hour per cleaner with $20–$30/hour going to each cleaner.
Kyrios Cleaning is owned and operated by Jon Nesvig. He is involved in the cleaning of every home or building, whether as the solo cleaner, part of a cleaning team, or overseeing and regularly checking in on cleaners. He resides in Roseville, MN with his wife and 5 children, and they all work together to serve you.
